Pleast adopt a pet this weekend

Cheryl Wicks the Director of Sammies Friends and now Director of the Nevada County Animal Shelter on McCourtney Rd. is hosting her 10th annual pet adopt-a-thon event this Saturday at the shelter from noon to 4pm.   You should go just for the wonderful raffle prizes she has gathered from the community that is always so willing to support her. And maybe you will find your new best friend.

Little dogs are wonderful! They will protect and cuddle with you at night. They're easy to feed; easy to bathe and groom. They are good company, especially on a walk.
