The District Attorney says the slow investigation involves the limited number of lab workers for the Department of Justice and the high number of cases sent to the labor. Newell says he needs all the evidence before he can decide if any further action is warranted in the shooting involved a drug deal gone bad. The suspect was chased and stopped at the Bear River where police say he pointed a gun at a Grass Valey officer and was shot and killed May 18th.
