Over 3000 Nevada County residents were without electricity at different times of the day today.
Two separate outages caused the power disruptions. The first outage occurred around 9:30 AM and the second around 12:45.

About 3000 customers had power restored between 1:30  and 2 PM. All but one of the 200 customers from the downed power line were back on the grid by 4:15.  No cause has been determined for the second and larger of the two outages.
