The Madelyn Helling Library will be hosting our first Adult Summer Reading Program event of the summer on Tuesday June 25th at 5 PM in the Gene Albaugh Community Room. This year’s Summer Reading theme is “Reading is Soo Delicious!” and the Library is celebrating that theme through books, events, and programs centered around food, nutrition, gardening, and health in our communities.
This first event on 6/25 is “Garden to Plate: Sustainable Gardening to Feed your Family” and will feature a panel presentation and some short video clips on local gardening, agriculture and farming in our community. This event is free to the public and no advanced registration is required. Just come prepared to learn and have fun! There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
For questions about the program, contact the Madelyn Helling Library at 265-7050.
