Renette Senum Visits Wall Street

Nevada City, City council member Renette Senum has returned from her trip to Wall Street to join the Occupy Wall Street movement and as she says to witness history in the making. Senum says she supports the local movement and appreciates the protest methods she witnessed in Wall Street to gain public support

“I think that because we’ve had such strong numbers week after week, we’ve had two hundred, three hundred, 550, that tells you something is stirring, people are drawing the line. Now what I learned from Occupy Wall Street is that there are so many beautiful, creative, peaceful, funny way to protest that gain public support, it doesn’t take it away, it gains it.”

You can see some of Senum’s Wall Street experience on YouTube at Occupy Wall Street Solidarity March for Oakland part 1 and part 2.
