A suspected drunk driver landed in jail after he lost control of his car on Highway 20, Sunday night. CHP Public Information Officer Marc Morrison says a 30 year old Smartsville man lost control of his 2010 Chrysler 300 near Penn Valley Driver just before midnight. Officer Morrison says the driver went down a embankment and roll the car several time stopping a hundred and twenty feet from the road.

After being treated for minor injures at Sierra Nevada Hospital, the driver was booked at the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility for suspicion of driving under the influence. Because of the repeated rolling of the car it is a total loss.
