Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says Deputies went to a Valley Drive home, Tuesday morning to check on 31 year old Robert McCully, who had been released by the court on his promise to appear on several felony charges. The Sheriff says deputies found suspected drugs and illegal weapons in the home.
“And they found that he was in possession of controlled substances, he was in possession of narcotics without a prescription, ,weapons charges, being under the influence and lastly, committing a felony while on bail.”
McCully has a long history with law enforcement, including car theft, drug charges, violence, and weapons charges. Over twenty computers were found in the home. McCully said he thought the computers were stolen, but he was just a midlevel drug dealer.
