Rough And Ready fire station Fundraiser

The town of Penn Valley is having a paper shredding fundraiser to benefit the Rough and Ready fire department hosted by the Penn Valley mini storage on Saturday September 10th from 9 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon. Lori Lloyd, organizer of the event says the community needed a document shredding event and they felt the fire department could use the funds raised from the event.

“A lot of our tenants were asking about shredding and we decided to look into it and nobody had any in this community had any and we decided to do it and all the money will go to the fire department because we appreciate the fire department very much.”

A standard sized file box can be shredded for $10. You can drop off your boxes at the Penn Valley Mini Storage in a secure storage unit until the day of the event. You can call 477-6464 for more information.
