Salvation Army Bell Ringer Campaign Still Underway

The Salvation Army bell ringing campaign is still underway in Grass Valley and Nevada City Major Don Sheppard says they have more families to serve this year and donations are still thankfully coming in.

“I’ll tell ya, last year we helped about 350 families and this year we’re well over 500. So that will tell you in short confines the needs and that type of thing. But the community has been very supportive and I think we’re going to be able to do it.”

The goal is to raise $97,000 this year in the Salvation Army’s Bell Ringing Campaign in Nevada County.
