Sammie’s Friends Animal Shelter and rescue is opening a new Thrift Shop on Saturday, March 2.  It’s located in the old Muttley’s Pet Food  store  at 627 east Main Street.    Sammies Friends Director Cheryl Wicks says they will have a grand opening party from 9:30am to 5 pm. Saturday.

The building is a perfect fit for the new thrift store as it has lots of room and windows with good lighting to showcase the merchandise.  For the opening Cheryl says they will have some pets there that are waiting for adoption. and all the proceeds from the thrift store will help sammies friends continue to do the work they do.

Donations for Sammie’s Nifty Thrift Shop will be accepted Mondays 9-1, Wednesdays 2-6, and Saturdays from 9-3 and the thrift store will be  open Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
