Scooters Pals Rescues 1,400 Dogs

14- hundred dogs are alive and placed in good homes because of Scooters Pals,  the local animal rescue group. Director Susan Wallace wants to thank  California Organics owners Chris and Lisa for hosting a fundraiser for scooters pals Tuesday evening where 20 percent of the proceeds of the evening were donated to Scooters Pals.
Scooters Pals is a small organization run by volunteers and they accept dogs from all over the state.   Wallace says many of their dogs come from Kern County where there are many puppy mills and overcrowding at the shelter can lead to euthanasia.

Wallace says Scooters Pals  is able to do  the work they do because we live  in a community where people really love dogs.
