Sheriff's Association Supports Beason

One County Supervisor running for reelection has pickup law enforcement support. Supervisor Nate Beason has won the endorsement of the Nevada County Deputy Sheriff Association. The president of the association Mike Sullivan says they do not give the endorsement lightly. Sullivan says Beason has shown through his actions his commitment to public safety.

“Supervisor Beason has been a very strong proponent of the public safety in Nevada County as well as fiscal responsibility as a whole. With that, and the responsibility that he has shown, the Deputy Sheriff’s association is proud to endorse him and hopes that his campaign goes well.”

Nate Beason represents the first supervisory district. The supervisory election will be held in 2012.
