Sierra College Orchestra Performs

The Sierra College Orchestra is putting on a free concert Friday evening (November 18th) at 7:30 pm in the multipurpose room of the Grass Valley campus. Violinist Natalie Stone says the music chosen should be familiar to most everyone.

“The March of the Marionettes, that’s the old theme song from Alfred Hitchcock’s show. Then we’re doing a whole composite of songs from Gypsy, which is a lot of fun and has a lot of spirit. Two flutists play a concerto with orchestral accompaniment. I think most of the pieces we’ll be playing will be recognizable by the audience.”

The orchestra will be conducted by Stephen Miller, The show is free and parking is $2.
