Sound Sleeper Booked on Warrant and Alleged Drug Charges

An apparent sound sleeper found himself in jail after falling asleep in his car in Grass Valley early Friday morning. Grass Valley Police Sergent Steve Johnson says an officer on foot patrol came upon the subject in the area of South Auburn St and Conway St. around 4:15 AM.

A second officer arrived and together they attempted to wake the subject.

The subject did not respond and the officers took additional action.

The subject was identified as a Timothy Brady a 21 year old transient. Brady had a warrant for his arrest and was searched.

Brady was taken into custody for the outstanding warrant along with additional drug related charges. Officer determined Brady was not under the influence of alcohol or narcotics- he is just an apparent deep sleeper.
