Stabbing Trial to Move Forward

A man accused of stabbing a Lake of the Pines man to death in February will stand trial next year. Deputy District Attorney Anna Ferguson says she presented evidence that 24 year-old Brandon Riddle-Terrell was the one who stabbed 33 year-old Ryan Roth several times at a residence where there apparently was a small party going on.

Drugs and alcohol were both apparently used at that residence, and a woman was also injured. Ferguson says it’s a tough subject this time of year, especially with so many family members present at the preliminary hearing.

Riddle-Terrell will be arraigned again in January, and a trial date is expected to be set at that time. Ferguson says it could be next fall before a trial begins.
