Stolen 12 Pack Leads to Bigger Charges

A suspect caught on video stealing a twelve pack of beer from a Safeway in Grass Valley led to bigger problems for a man hiding at a  Nevada City residence on Saturday. Grass Valley police were able to get a license number and an address from the vehicle from video surveillance cameras at the Safeway. Sergeant Clint Bates said the suspect was located at the Zion St residence.

The suspect gave a false identification to the officers which was discovered when hes was booked into the jail.

Jose Edoardo Henriquez was booked into Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on multiple charges and existing warrants.
