Supected Killer Picked Up On Donner

A bay area man wanted for attempted murder was taken into custody near Donner Summit over the weekend. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says The Redwood City Police hand a hunch that 36 year old Robert Roehm was in the Boreal Ski Resort  Area. The Sheriff says Roehm was wanted for attempted murder of his girlfriend. The Sheriff says the suspect had kept the girl friend confined to a room and attempted to choke her to death.

Sheriff Deputies and CHP Officers located the suspect in his hunting camp. He was taken into custody without incident. The Redwood city police immediately drove to the jail and transported to suspect back to the bay area.
