Suspected Child Molester Arrested in Penn Valley

A Nevada County Sheriff’s Department special unit announces the arrest of a suspected Child Molester. Sheriff’s Lt. John Kropp says the arrest occurred in the Penn Valley area.


“On Wednesday, November 2nd, detectives from the Nevada County Sheriff’s office Major Crimes Unit arrested a 36 year old Penn Valley resident for continuous sexual abuse of a child. A search warrant was served and numerous items of evidence were seized. The individual was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility and held on $75,000 bail.”


Lt. Kropp says the suspects name is not being released at this time due to the on going investigation and sensitivity of the case.
