SYRCL Film Festival Considered Best Yet

Organizers of the SYRCL Wild and Scenic Film Festival are celebrating the success of the10th annual event that took place last weekend. SYRCL Executive Director Caleb Dardic says it was a sellout.

“I believe we sold over 5,000 tickets, which was our maximum capacity and eight venues over three days and for the first time in Grass Valley as well as Nevada City.”

Dardic says about 60 percent of the attendees were from Nevada County and 40 percent were attracted from outside of the area. SYRCL also wants to thank the 700 volunteers who helped put on the Wild and Scenic Film Festival this year.
