However some participants missed the shaded and grassy venue of the Nevada County Fairgrounds. The event co-sponsored by the Grass Valley Downtown Association and the Sierra Vintners Association was held at the Gold Miners Inn-Holiday Inn Express and split between the parking lot “Tasting Village” and a VIP patio area within the Holiday Inn.

On a related note… Grass Valley Fire Department should be commended for responding to what turned out to be minor incident, but arrived at the event, entered and treated the patron without causing any interference or disruption. The patron had apparently fainted.
