Filmed at the Community of Writers Conference at Squaw Valley, the series contains advice from such well-known authors as Amy Tan, Anne Lamott, Janet Fitch, and Mark Childress. Jan has a B.S. in English Literature/Creative Writing and an M.S. in Educational Technology/Instructional Design. She lives in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada where, when she’s not writing, Jan hikes with her Golden Retriever, kayaks with her husband, and regularly works out at the gym. Tell Me Something Good — “Falling in Love Backwards”

Yesterday, the broadcast was live from Penny’s Diner–2072 Nevada City Hwy, Grass Valley, CA (530) 477-5673, where you’ll find all your favorite breakfast and lunch meals. I had the very generous serving of the Chinese Chicken Salad, which was delicious.

FallingInLoveBackwards_FrontCover_280My guests were Diane Covington-Carter and Landon Carter, authors of Falling in Love Backwards, An Unlikely Tale of Happily Ever After. We had a great conversation about how couples can be more loving towards one another and how it’s never too late to fall in love–especially those of us who are a certain age. Their book is available on Amazon. Learn more about Diane and Landon at http://www.fallinginlovebackwards.com/.

If you have “something good” you’d like to share with the Nevada County Community, please email me: jan@janfishler.com or call 530-264-5105.
