The 10th Annual Bill Shultz Memorial Classic Results

The 10th annual Bill shultz memorial golf Classic was held Sunday at the Ridge Golf course in Auburn and the foursome of retired judges consisting of Al Dover, Ersel Edwards, Allen Gratzer and Scott Thompson won the tournament raising funds for Community Recover Resources and their programs to assist families in recovery. Ariel King Lovette with CoRR explains this is a year of celebrating for CoRR.

“We’ve celebrated some really great milestones like celebrating  the groundbreaking for the Center for Hope, that merger with Sierra Council as well as 10 years of Hope House this year. So it was a pretty great year and it’s our 10th annual. So it was really great that our golden tournament had all these great milestones in there, too.”

130 people attended the banquet that included special guest including retired NFL players such as Honor Jackson who played for the Patriots and is currently the president of the retired northern California NFL players association, Anthony Bell of the Raiders and Ted Popson, tight end, of the 49er super bowl 1994 championship team.
