The Search for Missing Washington Boy is Over

A 3 year old boy who wandered away from his Nevada County home in the town of Washington yesterday afternoon was found safe shortly after 10 this morning by a logger, Barry Seeler who happened to be driving through the area.  He took the boy, Davyn Wilkison, to the Washington Hotel where, front desk clerk Alison Anderson says, there was a community sigh of relief.

Several Search and rescue volunteers and dog teams had turned out for the search as well as the CHP Helicopter.   Parents say their 3 year old son has been known in the past to get out of the house and go into neighbors houses and out buildings and take a nap. We don’t know what lead to this most recent adventure but he is now reunited with his parents and the search has a happy ending.
