Thursday Night Market Draws a Crowd

Downtown Grass Valley has once again come to life on Thursday nights. After a one year experiment where the focus was more on a farmer’s market atmosphere, Downtown Association Executive Director Julia Jordan tells KNCO that a decision was made to return to a street fair model.

Jordan says that there are 12 other farmer’s markets in the area, and the Downtown Association realizes that’s just a piece of Thursday Night Market and not the primary draw. Halli Ellis with local non-profit NEO, which focuses on positive activities for teens, says being part of Thursday Night Market again is great.

The Thursday Night Market continues in Grass Valley through August 14th from 6 to 9pm.
