North bound Highway 174 was slowed to one lane traffic following a broadside collision yesterday morning. CHP Officer Heather Blancharte says that accident was reported at 7:25a.m.

“There was a vehicle preparing to make a left turn north of Meadowview Drive. Another vehicle behind didn’t notice that that vehicle was stopping and swerved to the left to avoid a collision after they noticed and started braking. The original vehicle was turning left and there was a broadside collision on 174. One of the drivers had minor injuries, no one was taken to the hospital.”

The Hwy was reduced to one lane of metered traffic for a half hour during the morning commute for cleanup of the accident.
