Nevada Countys locally based bank, Citizen’s of Northern Califorinia was shut down by the FDIC Friday.  Tri Counties Bank will be taking over and all branches of Citizen’s are expected to be open Monday under Tri Counties name.  Citizen’s Bank has been financiallly troubled for some time and was ordered to raise more money at the end of  June due to continued losses.  Bank records show losses over $20 million dollars over the last two years.
