Following a several month investigation, two men were taken into custody after the search of a Grass valley apartment turned up suspected drugs. Grass Valley Police Sergeant Joe Matteoni says Officers and a CHP canine unit served a search warrant at a residence at the Berryhill apartments in Grass Valley on Sunday morning. The Sergeant says officers quickly found evidence of drug usage and sales of drugs. The resident was taken into custody.
“Officers with the Grass Valley Police Department, with the assistance of the CHP, executed a search warrant on 126 West Berryhill Drive in Grass Valley and during the execution of that search warrant, Cory Lisicero was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine for sale, operating a residence for use of controlled substance sales and child endangerment.”
A second person 29 year old Michael Bowden of Penn Valley was also found in the apartment in possession of suspected dangerous drugs. Sergeant Matteoni says four juveniles in the apartment at the time of the raid were turned over to Child Protective Services for placement. The residence was found to be a place where drugs are continuously used. Besides the methamphetamine inside the apartment officers also found more than 100 small baggies often used for the sale of drugs as well as weigh scales.
