Voting Available Saturday at Rood Center

Nevada County Voters that wish to vote this weekend rather than waiting until Tuesday can do so at the Rood Center on Saturday.
County Assistant Clerk Recorder, Gail Smith, says the office will be open most of the day Saturday.

Voters can vote in person or drop off their mail ballots. Smith also says there is secure drop box a the Rood center that voter can drop off mail-in ballots any time between now and November 6th. Over 45,000 mail in ballots were issued for this election.

The total number of registered voters for Nevada County exceeds 60,000.

And polls will be open on Tuesday November 6 at all locations as well as the Rood Center.
