Wolf Road Accident Likely Caused by Drunk Driver

Alcohol was a likely factor in the cause of a car accident on Wolf Road Tuesday afternoon. CHP Officer Cindy Morgan says the accident happened near Cameron Way when a 44 year old woman from Eden California was driving a 2005 Saab when she was going to fast into a curve.

“Due to her level of intoxication, she failed to negotiate a turn in the roadway and struck an embankment with her vehicle. The vehicle was rendered undrivable and a passing motorist took her to a nearby fire station at Combie Road and Highway 49.”

The CHP conducted a sobriety investigation and arrested the woman for suspicion of driving under the influence.
