Yea “Old” Guy

Had another indicator that I am getting older when I found myself rooting for Ken Duke in this past weekend’s PGA Tour event, the Travelers Championship.  Here is Duke, the old guy at 44, trying to win for the first time on tour…and played so well.  Has a one shot lead after Bubba Watson melted down and Chris Shroud, at 31, was over the green and need to chip in to force a playoff.  And he did!! Shroud then his best Tiger impersonation, and fist pumped his way around and off the green and into the playoff.  Duke stayed calm and steady and gathered himself and won in the playoff.  And it felt like he won it for all us middle aged guys.  Well done, Duke!!
