Yuba county officials are still trying to identify a body found Monday at Plumas Lake and Arboga Road. Yuba County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Damon Gil says the body was found near the railroad tracks. The Lieutenant says they now have a description of the man’s body.

“The body is that of a white male adult, approximately 25-35 years of age. He stood between 5’10” and 6’1″, he weighed about 160 to 175 pounds and had short, curly brown hair.”

The Lieutenant says a autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday. They hope to learn the cause of death and further information about the deceased man. He is asking anyone with information about the possible identity of the male to call the Sheriff’s Office at 749-7777.
