Yuba County Sheriff's Department Seek Public's Information on Kidnapping

The Yuba County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in locating suspects involved in an apparent kidnapping yesterday. Lt. Damon Gil with the Yuba county Sheriff’s office says a passerby on Hwy 70 near woodruff lane north of Marysville in what is known as 6 mile station saw what he thought to be 2 masked men, forcing a woman into a car around noon yesterday. The woman is described as being 25 to 35 years old with shoulder length curly blond hair wearing a black dress. The two suspects were said to be wearing masked. Lt Gil has the vehicle description.

“Specifically we are looking for a red or rust colored older model Lincoln or Mercury type vehicle, possibly a cougar or a Lincoln Continental. The vehicle had a lighter colored top, believed to be white.”

If you were in the area you are asked to call the Yuba County Sheriff’s office at 749-7777.
