Ten Charges by GV-CHP Against One Auburn Man

Nevada County Deputies eventually pulled over an Auburn man who did not initially yield to officers near HWY 49 and McKnight Way Monday. The man gave the Deputy a false identification and appeared to be under the influence. The Deputy turned the stop over to the Grass Valley CHP and the officer determined the driver 24 year old Anthony Ryan Givens of Auburn to be under the influence of a controlled substance. CHP Officer Justin Barnthouse says once the vehicle was taken for impound, drugs were found.

Givens was charges with 3 felonies and 7 misdemeanors, 4 of the charges were for outstanding warrants. Givens was booked into the Wayne Brown correctional facility.
