Johnson says the girl then ran home and the man stopped following her. She was not injured. But thanks to a good description, police located and arrested 45-year-old Christian Stevens of Yakima, Washington. Officers say they also found a claw hammer and a knife hidden on Stevens. Johnson says Stevens had been driving between Southern California and Washington and it’s not known why he stopped in Grass Valley. He’s facing charges of battery, false imprisonment, possession of concealed weapons, and annoying a child.
