16-Year-Old Charged With 5 GV Vehicle Thefts

A 16-year-old Grass Valley boy has been arrested for stealing 5 vehicles all over town in the last several weeks, among other charges. Bates says the boy has also been charged with possession of stolen property, including $2,000 worth of tools in one vehicle. He also points out that the owners had left all 5 vehicles unlocked, with the keys in the ignition. He says there’s no evidence, at this point, of any other suspects involved.
