16-Year-Old Nevada City Boy Hurt In Crash

A 16-year-old Nevada City boy is clinging to life after being seriously injured in a solo vehicle accident Monday morning. CHP officer Greg Tassone says the boy was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry, on Bittney Springs Road, near Newtown Road…

The boy’s name is not being released, because of his age. Tassone says since the boy is in no condition to talk to officers about the crash, and there were no other witnesses, more details about how it occurred will not be available at this time and will require further investigation at the scene.
