With increased concerns about the flu throughout the country, the Nevada County Public Health Department is pleased to announce an additional seasonal flu vaccination clinic has been added to their schedule. Public Health Coordinator, Patti Carter, says the clinic is limited to adults only.

Carter says that incidents of the flu have increased in Nevada County recently,  and increased vaccination efforts have been a collaborative partnership between the county and the medical community.

The cost for the flu shot is $15 and only cash or checks are accepted. No insurance,  Medicare,  Medi-Cal or private insurance plans.
This clinic does not include vaccine for women who are pregnant.
