A male teenage driver went off the road and into a tree early this morning in an accident on Highway 174. CHP Officer Greg Tassone says they responded along with Fire Department paramedics.
The Vehicle was a Chevy S-10 pick up truck. The driver was a 17 year old male.
Tassone says there were no skid marks and no indication that the driver had been speeding, but there was substantial damage to the vehicle and major injuries to the driver.
The Driver was transported by helicopter to the Trauma Center at Sutter Roseville Medical Center and Tassone says officers were not able to talk to him about what happened to cause the accident because of the extent of his injuries.
