CHP Cracking Down on Cell Phones and Driving

The CHP is giving drivers warning that they will be out in force looking for driver talking on their cell phones. CHP Public Information Officer Dina Hernandez says officers will be looking for distracted drivers all day on Tuesday. Hernandez says they will target people using their cell phone and any other activity that distracts them from keeping their eyes on the road.

Officer Hernandez says officers will be on all the major roads in the county writing citations for those caught using their cell phones and any other activity that distracts the drivers.
