2 Acre Fire Off Perimeter Road Contained

A vegetation fire that was reported to Grass Valley Emergency Command Center at approximately 2:45 was contained in a little over an hour.  CALFIRE Captain Jeff Fuentes says that multiple units and air support were used to fight the blaze.

The blaze was contained to approximately 2 acres by 4:00 PM and crews will be on scene for several more hours.
