Nevada City Suspect Caught with Goods in Grass Valley

A suspect in a burglary in Nevada City was caught with the stolen item in Grass Valley several hours after the theft was reported. Nevada City Police Officer Chad Ellis say that the victim new who the thief that had stolen her mountain bike Wednesday.

Officers put out a Be On The Lookout for Jeffrey Bodde with a description of the bike and suspect. Ellis says they got a call from Grass Valley police about four hours later.

Bodde was detained by Grass Valley Police until Nevada City Police arrived and took him into custody. He was booked on second degree burglary and possession of stolen goods greater than 400 dollars.
