STEAM Expo at Fairgrounds

The Nevada county Science, Technology Engineering Art and Math, also known as STEAM Expo was well attended by parents, students , and the public Saturday at the Main Exhibit Hall at the Nevada County Fairgrounds.. Char Johns, Associate Superintendent of Schools for Nevada County, was very impressed with the variety and creativity of the displays.

Acme Robotics was one of the more popular displays with their Basket shooting robot. Ivy Brott, a Freshman at Nevada Union High School, explains how she got involved .

Ivy shared that Acme Robotics will also be hosting a Lego Robotics Camp this summer for kids entering the fifth through eighth grades .
