About 700 students will be participating this year.
One activity is the mock trial.  Students serve as prosecutors under the guidance  of the District Attorney’s office and the Public Defender’s office instructs student attorneys in defending a client. The Jury is also made up of students who go through the process of reaching a verdict, and one student gets to play the judge under the guidance of an actual Superior Court judge. Metroka says the students also get to see a piece of history in the courthouse.

The students will also receive a presentation on Juvenile Drug Court as part of Law Day.
