Blackburn was last reported by the hospital to be in “fair” condition. Meanwhile, Steele says the driver, 49-year-old Alfred Rissitto of Nevada City, wasn’t at fault. But he was cited for misdemeanor DUI. The speed limit through North San Juan is 25 miles an hour and Steele says Rissitto was not driving excessively fast.
