A Grass Valley Charter school is expected to stay open, but on a conditional basis, after fiscal mismanagement issues. The president of the Nevada County Board of Education, Trevor Michael, says EPIC Charter School, on McCourtney Road, has made sufficient progress that a Memorandum of Understanding has been reached for what he calls a “compromise pathway”, to avoid having its charter revoked.
