Two calls for fire response today caused some congestion in traffic near the round-about on East Main Street in Grass Valley around 1 o’clock. Battalion Chief Mark Buttron explains first a medical call then the fire call for service.
Battalion Chief Buttron says there was a fire in the rear of the home. Engines from Grass Valley and consolidated fire departments and Grass Valley police responded. The fire was extinguished and an investigation has begun into the cause of that fire.
