Something new and different happened yesterday and I just had to share it.

My wife & I were invited over to our son’s home for dinner!  Now, I’ve had dinner at my daughters home before, but this was a first.  After how many years of feeding this boy, he feed us.  He grilled up a nice steak and a couple of chicken breasts, we provided potato salad and some sliced watermelon.  A nice meal, a nice evening and we didn’t have to do any of the cleaning!

I will admit I was tempted to pull some of the stunts he had done over the years.  Like removing the batteries from TV remote to use in his game controller.  But I guess seeing how happy he was there was no way I was gonna do that to him.  I figure he will have enough of that when his future kids come along.  I don’t even think I will burden him with the knowledge that my Dad shared (and scared) me with……
