A Unique Antique Handed To Sheriff

The Nevada County Sheriff has a unique piece of World War I memorabilia is his possession and safe keeping. The widow of a veteran who had fought in the first world war brought the piece of history to the Sheriff because she wasn’t sure what she should do with it.

Though the item is technically illegal, the sheriff is investigating the proper way to proceed with handling the historic relic.

Sheriff Royal says though this item is extremely rare, it is not uncommon for potentially dangerous war memorabilia to be found in Nevada County.
