No serious injuries reported in a collision that occurred on Highway 20 near Mooney Flat Road yesterday morning, but CHP officer Greg Tassone says one was traffic control was in place for about one hour for the investigation. The accident happened at 9:40 a.m. between Wild Turkey Lane and Mooney Flat.

An 18 year old male from Smartsville who was driving a red Ford Mustang lost traction as he pulled out of Wild Turkey Lane onto Highway 20 and spun out into the lane of oncoming traffic. The Mustang collided with a PT Cruiser driven by a 55 year old Woman from Rough and Ready.
Officer Tassone says the investigation shows that both parties may have had some cause in making the collision happen.

One way traffic control was in place on Highway 20 for about 60 minutes while the collision was investigated and cleared.
