Accident on Highway 20 Westbound, Injuries Reported

A major injury accident blocked the westbound lanes of Highway 20 near Rex Reservoir this morning.  CHP Officer Greg Tassone says callers were saying there was a vehicle rolled over on its roof.

The vehicle was a 4-door sedan. At least one person in the vehicle suffered serious injuries and the CHP helicopter made a landing in Penn Valley to transport the victim to the Sutter-Roseville Trauma Center.  The accident is still under investigation.
